Return/Cancellation Policy

Il Fanale lighting is made completely by hand, therefore imperfections and little flaws can be just a part of the character, and what makes the collection unique. Often, these 'flaws' are just natural variation and what our buyers are looking for and do not effect the quality of the piece.

-All items are made-to-order, therefore all sales are final.
-Pending inspection and approval, a store credit or refund will be issued for the item value less a 30% restocking fee
-You have up to 30 days after you received your item to request a return.
-To return any items, you first must call 631.537.1032 and obtain a return authorization.
-Replacement granted if goods arrive damaged. We do not refund for change of mind.
-Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
-Custom and special orders may not be cancelled or returned.
-We do not accept returns for international orders.

In the rare occasion of damage, we are unable to assist and file an insurance claim without the customer’s notation of the damage on the shipper’s waybill.

If there is damage to items shipped via common carrier (i.e. UPS), please call us at 631.537.1032 immediately so that we may file a claim, and please keep all boxes and packaging. We will replace or repair any lighting damaged in shipping as quickly as possible.
If we approve a return or refund, our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned: Items that are sale priced, special ordered, custom ordered, or made-to-order cannot be returned or refunded. If we do approve a return for a sale priced item, special order, custom order, or made-to-order item, we may charge a restocking fee.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
